SMD „Low Profile“ Power Inductor for LED and backlighting applications
The product family WE-TPC has been extended with inclusion of size 8012 (8.0 x 8.0 x 1.2 mm) and 8015 (8.0 x 8.0 x 1.5 mm).
This new addition to the Power Inductor family has 2 main features, that it is extremely flat while been able to achieve high current capability up to 7.5 A. In this new range inductance values from 0.22 µH ~ 22 µH with a DCR of 9.5 mΩ ~ 350 mΩ are available. The WE-TPC 8012 and 8015 are magnetically shielded which results in a low leakage field.
This series was optimized with respect to the steadily increasing request of faster switching frequencies of DC/DC converters by using a special core material.
Due to the extremely low profile of the power inductors they are especially suitable for low profile LED and backlighting applications.
