And remember the educational value of NEW UK:
Microsoft has supported National Electronics Week 2010, bringing a series of free seminars to the UK’s leading electronics exhibition. A unique opportunity for companies and developers either using or that want to learn more about Microsoft Windows Embedded technologies, the Microsoft Windows Embedded Hands-On Lab and technical presentation took place during the show.

Just before the show National Electronics Week Event Director Claire Saunders recently questioned new Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg on the subject of UK electronics. The UK electronics advocate questioned Clegg on how the new government plans to support the industry.
Claire Saunders took the opportunity to tell him about the National Electronics Week exhibition being held this week at the NEC and its commitment to supporting UK electronics. Saunders contrasted this with the disappointment she felt when, in her view, the previous government failed to give the industry the priority it merited as the fifth largest electronics sector in the world. Clegg explained that as a politician in Sheffield, supporting UK electronics was particularly close to his heart and assured her that it would be a top priority for the new government.
